Inter Blades exit at last 16 stage

After defeating Halifax 3-0 (Aaron Trinder hattrick) in the first knock out match on Day Two of WorldNet 2010, the Inter Blades were finally beaten 1-0 by Crystal Palace via a horrendous penalty decision.

Well done to Chris, Colin and all the players though, the last 16 of the main IFA Cup competition is a great achievement, especially considerding we had won 8 games in a row up to that point and never looked in danger. It took a Palace side who don't play IFA games (make of that what you will) to halt the run, but congratulations to them and best wishes to all the remaining teams left in the tournament.

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
