We went at Donny from the start and really for almost all the first half were camped in their half. After near misses from Chris Quinn, Chris Beckett, Dale and Aaron we took the lead through a thumping header from Chris Quinn on the 15 min mark and about 5 minutes later Aaron made it 2-0 with a shot from just inside the box that gave the keeper no chance.

Donny rarely threatened and when they did the defence coped easily and a party piece from Ash Cowley where he flicked the ball over an attacker and ran on to the ball was one of the highlights of the half (thought id give that a mention lol)

Chris Quinn made it 3-0 halfway through the half with a thumping shot in to the left hand corner of the net and we ended the half strongly and well on top

At the start of the 2nd half Donny started to get on top and they pulled a goal back after some sloppy defending, but we soon got our act together again and took the game to Donny, having lots of possession and peppered their goal with shots. We scored 2 more goals both from Chris Beckett who had come back on and was playing a lone strikers role with Tom strangely playing at left back ???

The 4th goal came half way through the half when Chris B. ran on to a lovely through ball from Lee North and drove the ball in to the corner of the net and he followed up soon after with a curling shot in to the far corner after beating 2 defenders after a one two with aaron. Donny were good sports and the game was played in the right spirit and i cant remember a bad tackle really.
